 Agni the band is a Mumbai based band contemprorary Indian rock band which was incepted by three young school going boys who had little sense of music and had big dreams to see. The band started off as a school rock band and did various concerts there, only to become professional rock musicians as they are now. The band is inclined towards playing genres like Sufi and soft metal rock .They are constantly at experiment with creating and composing musics.Jal (Pakistan) ,Junoon, Strings have been as inspiration to this group. Back home in India bands like Parikrama, Indian Ocean and Euphoria have captured the imagination of the musicians.

The journey continued as time passed by. Many members joined and left, even today the band welcomes able and aspirant musicians to come in their midst and compose music.

The band has also played songs like Maeri, Aadat si, Maahi, Akhri Alvida, Teri Deewani, Saiyyan, VO lamhein, sahyam tanha, aashayein, tanha dil, etc at various occasions and concerts.

The songs that the band composes are to be shortlisted and then launched as an debut album sometime soon.  can call this a different genre altogether- a genre of war songs. The group is now working towards the compiling of their first album which will be named shortly.
